MEET
THE WOODIES!
Who are The
Woodies? Maybe this will help...
Guitar/Vocals - Eddie Bray:

Eddie
"Van" Bray is a founding member of The Woodies. Following the breakup of his
last band "The Groceries," Eddie was incarcerated for a single parking ticket,
and will eagerly share his many fond prison memories when asked. His main axe is a Fender
Telecaster, which now shares time with his new Y2K-compatible Danelectro DC3. He gets his
signature sound through a custom-made Washburn pedal board connected to a Fender Hot Rod
Deluxe Amp. Eddie drives a white van, (and it's not a woodie).

Guitar/Vocals - Tim Silke:
Tim, the
other Woodies co-founder has just returned to the Northwest after a "short stay"
at Alcatraz. Tim is glad to be home, and will readily engage in denial regarding his prior
band. Since leaving "Up With People" for his negative attitude, Tim now gets
"Down With People" wherever The Woodies play. Tim's arsenal includes two Fender
Stratocasters (along with a couple of miscellaneous guitars), an omnipotent Line-6
amplifier, and accompanying pedal board. Tim drives a white car, (not a woodie).

Bass/Vocals - Dave Dickerson:

After
spending time at the Purdy Correctional Facility, Dave is rested and a bit more
self-actualized. He was indoctrinated into the Woodies institution in 1992 after serving
time in several Tacoma bands, including "The Abstracts." Dave's gear includes
two Fender basses: a fretless Jazz and a 5-string American Jazz. He runs his Ampeg B-2
into an SWR cabinet with four 10's. Dave drives a white truck, (you guessed it, not a
woodie).

Drums - Dave Halliwell:
The other
Dave is originally from Great Falls, Montana. He has been drumming with The Woodies and
soul-searching since 1997 - just "breaking rocks in the hot sun." Before the
Woodies, Dave was keeping time with a local original band, "Drunk as
Usual". Included in his really cool black Slingerland Percussion kit: some
Sennheiser drum mics, a Gilbraltar double-kick pedal and a pair of sticks. Oh, by
the way... Dave also drives a white van, (no woodie here either).
